Somewhere between home and the road, I’m building a wilder kind of life.
It’s not always pretty, but it’s mine.
I’m Kyle
I’m a photographer and filmmaker splitting my time between life at home in Arizona with my partner, Danielle, and extended stretches living and working from my truck.
This Way Wild began when I gave up my apartment, moved into the truck, and set out to build a more adventurous and creative life. The experiment has evolved, but the curiosity behind it has not.
These days, the project is about what happens between home and the road: the places I explore, the people I meet, the work I create, and everything I learn while figuring it out as I go.

Let’s Build Something That Doesn’t Suck
This Way Wild is more than life on the road. It’s a creative project built around curiosity, storytelling, and making work that feels honest.
Sometimes that means weeks in the truck, chasing stories down unfamiliar roads. Sometimes it means coming home and turning those experiences into something worth sharing or booking a spontaneous flight to somewhere I’ve never been.
The goal is simple: make things that matter, work with people who care, and leave room for the unexpected.
Brands I've Worked With
From documenting off-grid adventures to leading full-scale campaigns, I’ve collaborated with folks like: Roadtrip Oregon, Kokopelli Packrafts, Niner Bikes, Radica Products, and a range of brands through my commercial studio, KPL Studios—including Amazon, Opendoor, Ohm Fitness, The Arizona Hideaway Collection, Desert Diamond Arena, and Sandia Resort & Casino.
If your gear can survive the back of my truck—or your story deserves more than a template — I’m interested.
